Meet the team
Steve - Managing Director
Steve started the business back in 2001 from his home in Essex before moving down to sunny Southsea in 2007. By day, Steve’s here at Si HQ, focusing his time on developing and growing the company, by night he’s a cooking addict, doting husband and father of two. Aside from starting the company, Steve’s biggest achievement is completing his first triathlon in 2012 (with many more to come we think).
Alex - Lead Developer
After graduating from Portsmouth University in Internet Technology 4 years ago, Alex joined Si digital. He now oversees all our builds, ensuring they maintain the high quality we expect. In his spare time, Alex loves touring on his motorbike, gaming, and when he can, throwing himself down snow covered mountains.
Oli - Lead Technical
With strong experience in IT and backend development, Oli provides the nuts and bolts for all our web applications as well as ensuring that our technologies are all up-to-date and secure. In his free time, Oli likes to create experimental web apps, listen to his expansive collection of dodgy, 90’s music and occasionally play Dance Dance Revolution at the arcade (don’t ask).
Mandy - Marketing
Having studied Advertising at Southampton Solent University and worked with companies such as Fallon and Pretty Green, Mandy is our eagle-eyed Marketing Assistant, working on all our content, blog posts and outgoing communications. When not keeping things in check here at Si digital, Mandy loves city breaks, endless cups of tea and getting stuck into a good book.
Mike - Developer
After completing his Information Technology in Organisations degree at the University of Southampton, Mike is the latest developer to join our Si team, providing brilliant technical support to our clients and creating exciting new web apps. However, when he isn't busy coding, Mike enjoys gaming, bee keeping and building Robot Wars stylee mini robots.
Tom - Lead Designer
The most recent addition to our team, Tom heads up our design output, which started with our amazing rebrand. A pixel perfectionist, illustrator and ideas guy, he’s creative to the core. Tom loves getting inspired by travelling, exploring and taking photographs. To disconnect from all this technology, Tom loves heading to the ocean to Surf or Wakeboard and tries to catch the odd football game when he can.
